Shows all general statistics of the current game. OpenTTD has already been translated into over 50 languages. significant internationalisation support. It attempts to mimic the original game as closely as possible while extending it with new features. (ResetStation 1 = Resets ALL station cargo and ratings, including AI) OpenTTD is an open source simulation game based upon the popular Microprose game 'Transport Tycoon Deluxe', written by Chris Sawyer. Resets all cargo and ratings of ALL your stations, excluding the AI. Removes your HQ (Warning: If your HQ's grown size, removing it and replacing it will cause it never expand anymore) Removes all UNUSED vehicles from the buy screen. Gives the ammount of money you enter in your current valuta. (Only returns "aged" vehicles, doesn't unlock all futuristic vehicles ahead of time) These include: convert rail tool (to electrified rail, monorail, and maglev) drag&drop support for almost all tools (demolition, road/rail building/removing, stations, scenario editor. has been put into making OpenTTD easy to use. (Only returns "aged" vehicles, doesn't unlock all futuristic trains ahead of time) OpenTTD is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2.0. If you enter a single digit, it'll change ALL tracks to it. EffectĪds a new "Subsidy" to your Subsidy list.Ĭhanges all tracks to your desired choice (Tracks 1 = Rail, 2 = Monorail, 3 = Maglev). If you enter a correct code, a little check will apear after it.Īlso note, for some more advanced cheatcodes like Debug Menu, always save your game before enabling it.Īnother note: Cheatcodes with (.), enter the specific number you want there overriding the tags and the text inbetween. Convert monorail to maglev on all map (use views). Type your specific cheatcode and hit return/enter. Long story short, if you are trying to convert, I think it is easier to just sell all trains and repopulate lines anew. Simutrans is a cross-platform simulation game in which the player strives to run a successful transport system by constructing and managing transportation systems for passengers, mail and goods by land (rail, road, tram, monorail, maglev), air and water between places.Like OpenTTD, Simutrans is an open-source transportation game based on the Transport Tycoon idea. Same thing when going to mag lev.Īnother issue I find myself running into - original network built for lower speed trains was optimized for that speed, if you convert that rail into high speed all of a sudden you end up having bottlenecks in different places than they were previously because travel times changed. Then you get to mono rail, if you replace straight rail for rail - you're likely to end up with geometry that is not ideal for high speed trains. For instance when you build regular 2 track in 1950 the requirements to have large sweeps are not there, because trains barely go 150. The reasons why is I find that my slower rail networks don't really replace very well into maglev due to speed differences. Here's my take on upgrading - don't, unless forced to by vehicles outdating.
